Who We Are.

Centerpointe Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church that was started in 2011 in Huntersville, NC. We strive to know Christ and Make Him Known.

Striving to honor the Lord through Christ-centered worship, gospel-centered ministry, and continued church planting both here and around the world, while maintaining a warm atmosphere at home.

Pastoral Transition

At Centerpointe Baptist Church, we are in a season of pastoral transition. During this time, we are prayerfully seeking God’s guidance as we discern His will in calling the next pastor to shepherd our congregation. As we move forward, we remain committed to our mission: Pointing the World to Christ, the Center of Life and Worship. We are confident in God’s faithfulness and trust that He is preparing the right leader to join us in fulfilling this mission. Founding Pastor, Heston Blake

Pastor Heston and his wife Rebekah moved to Huntersville, NC, in 2011 to plant Centerpointe Baptist Church.
Heston graduated with an undergraduate degree in Mass Media, believing he was being led into pastoral ministry. He went on to attend Bob Jones Seminary, where he completed his Master’s in Counseling in 2007 and his Master of Divinity degree in 2010.
As God worked in Heston and Rebekah’s hearts through various circumstances, they sought counsel from other pastors and ministry leaders, ultimately feeling led to make Huntersville their home.
Heston and Rebekah, along with their four children—Annie, Charlie, Natalie, and Molly—faithfully served Centerpointe until November 2024. At that time, Heston transitioned to a full-time position with ARCH Ministries, and their family relocated to a new home base outside Orlando, FL.
